Happy New Year to all of our noble aquatic microbial ecology researchers out there! As we said goodbye to 2021, AMRI ushers in the new year with a vision for further strengthening our network of dedicated scientists.

We plan to continue our bi-weekly AMRI zoom fikas and trivias as well as workshops on topics of interest, distinguished guest lectures, and student exchanges (COVID restrictions permitting). Following the great popularity of the Bioinformatics Workshop, PhD Day and Postdoc Day of AMRI Week, we also plan to include more events of this kind in the future (again, COVID restrictions permitting).

Thanks to all who have taken an interest in AMRI in the past year. We hope that you will encourage others to reach out, join our events, and become a part of the AMRI network in 2022!

NordSIMS VegaCenter Proposal Call 2024

Deadline October 2023

Applications are invited for analytical time at NordSIMS-Vegacenter, a Swedish Research

Council supported national infrastructure for microanalysis and imaging in the Earth,

environmental and planetary sciences that comprises the NordSIMS ion microprobe facility

and the Vegacenter facility for (LA-)ICP-MS. Applications are particularly encouraged from

members of under-represented and historically disadvantaged groups.
